Historic Brands Aftershave is made in small batches and aged in European Oak barrels. Tannins pulled from the oak act as a surprisingly effective astringent, extremely useful to treat and counter the distress caused to skin from shaving. As an added bonus, the aging process allows the properties of the charred oak to be transformed into aromatic compounds. It also balances the scents and alcohol; offering a pleasant aroma that resembles vanilla, spice, smoke and other subtle floral notes.

This is NOT a Parfum or Cologne, this is Craft Aftershave and the first North American barrel aged formula that uses traditionally coopered, European Oak, barrels and that contains a unique infusion of Potassium Alum.

Embargo Blend | 30ml

This signature aftershave is a spirited barbers blend of cognac and sweet tobacco scents.  It’s carefully barrel aged and with Limousine oak to infuse natural vanilla tannins, scents of carmel smoke and a honey brown colour. Our unique potassium alum formula that contains styptic and antiseptic properties helps to counter nicks and oily skin.  Smell superb and enjoy the effective functionality of this traditional restorative aftershave.  

Georgian Bay Rum | 30ml

Inspired by the harmony of changing winds, fresh water & coniferous vegetation that are the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay; this elemental fragrance has unique character & therapeutic properties. Counter nicks & oily skin with this traditional, restorative aftershave. Better suited for those usually irritable to most synthetic scents. Barrel aged in European oak for natural color & added woodiness. 

Italian Soda | 30ml

Inspired by the effervescent sensation & nostalgic joy that comes from the first taste of a cold Soda Pop. Top notes of Vanilla & Sweet Tobacco fold down onto notes of Myrtle, Toasted Caramel and Spice.

Counter nicks & oily skin with this traditional, restorative aftershave. Barrel aged in European oak for a natural infusion of astringent and aromatic compounds. 

Cerf Rouge | 30ml

This unique aftershave is aged in French Limousin Quercus Robur & charred European oak barrels to enhance aromas, infuse natural detoxifying tannins & offer a honey brown bourbon colouring. Top aromas of black cherry, vanilla, light oak double over to a distinct dry down of smoke, spiced chocolate & leather.  Our unique potassium alum formula that contains styptic and antiseptic properties helps to counter nicks and oily skin.  Smell superb and enjoy the effective functionality of this traditional restorative aftershave.
